Smart TV Setup Guide

Get GreatPass running on your Samsung or LG Smart TV — no extra hardware needed.

Compatibility note: This guide covers Samsung Tizen TVs and LG WebOS TVs. The exact steps may vary slightly depending on your TV model and software version. If you get stuck, our support team is here to help.

    Open your TV's app store

    Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to the app store — on Samsung this is the Samsung App Store; on LG it is the LG Content Store.

    Search for a compatible media player

    Use the search function to find a supported media player application. Install the one recommended by our support team — if you're unsure which to use, contact us and we'll point you to the right one for your TV model.

    Launch the app and note any device details

    Open the installed player. Some apps display a device ID or MAC address on the first screen — make a note of this if shown, as you may need to share it with us to link your subscription.

    Enter your activation details

    Navigate to the app's settings or login area and enter the activation details we send to your email after purchase. These connect the app to your GreatPass subscription.

    Save and start watching

    Confirm and save your settings. Your content will load shortly. Sit back and enjoy.
