MAG Box Setup Guide

Configure GreatPass on your MAG or Infomir set-top box using the portal settings.

Important — MAC address: MAG boxes use your device's MAC address to authenticate your subscription. Before starting, locate your device's MAC address (shown in Settings → System Information) and share it with our support team during or after purchase so we can link it to your account.

    Access System Settings

    Press the Menu button on your MAG remote. Navigate to Settings, then select System Settings.

    Open the Portal configuration

    Inside System Settings, go to Servers, then select Portals. Choose Portal 1 URL (also labelled "Set Portal 1" on some firmware versions).

    Enter a portal name

    In the Portal 1 Name field, type a friendly label for your own reference — for example, GreatPass.

    Enter your portal URL

    In the Portal 1 URL field, enter the portal address we provide in your purchase confirmation email. Type it exactly as shown — upper/lower case and punctuation matter.

    Save settings and reboot

    Press OK to save. Navigate back to the main menu and select Reboot (or power-cycle the device). The portal will load automatically on restart.

    Enter your credentials if prompted

    After rebooting, you may be asked for a username and password — use the credentials included in your purchase confirmation email. You are now ready to watch.
